Appointments
Team DeLacy PC Builds operates primarily by appointment.
Customers should contact Team DeLacy before bringing equipment or components to the service location.
Walk-in service is not guaranteed.
Cancellations
Customers should provide as much notice as possible when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.
If work has not started, eligible prepaid labor may be refunded according to the written quote.
Once paid planning, compatibility research, diagnosis, assembly, installation, or other labor has already been performed, charges for completed work are generally non-refundable.
Deposits
A deposit may be required to reserve a complete-build appointment.
If Team DeLacy cancels a job before work begins, any unused labor deposit will be refunded.
If the customer cancels after work has begun, Team DeLacy may retain the amount reasonably attributable to work already completed.
Any specific deposit terms shown on the customer's written quote take priority.
Refunds
Because Team DeLacy primarily sells labor and services, completed labor is generally not refundable once properly performed.
If Team DeLacy makes a verified workmanship error, the first remedy will normally be to correct the workmanship under the 30-Day Workmanship Policy.
Refunds may be considered when Team DeLacy cannot reasonably complete an agreed service.
Customer-Supplied Parts
Team DeLacy does not provide refunds for customer-owned components.
Customers must pursue defective, damaged, incorrect, or unwanted component refunds through the retailer or manufacturer from which they purchased the part.
Additional Work
If Team DeLacy discovers a problem requiring work outside the original quote, the customer will be contacted.
Additional work will not be performed or charged without customer approval.
Pickup and Final Payment
Customers will be contacted when their computer is ready.
The remaining service balance must be paid before the equipment is released.
At pickup, customers may be shown:
- The completed system
- Basic hardware detection
- Temperature or stability results when applicable
- Any important service notes
Customers should inspect the system and raise any immediate concerns before leaving whenever practical.
Service Refusal
Team DeLacy may decline or stop service when:
- Equipment presents an electrical or physical safety risk
- Components appear counterfeit or dangerously damaged
- Required parts are missing
- The requested work falls outside Team DeLacy's service capabilities
- The requested work involves illegal or unauthorized activity
- Continuing the service would create an unreasonable risk of damaging customer property
If service is declined after labor has already been performed, the customer may still be responsible for approved work completed up to that point.
Team DeLacy Electronics reserves the right to deny claims that are fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with this policy.
This policy may be updated periodically without prior notice.
